High Gain Booster Antenna for Cuddelink Camera System

Price:
Sale price$ 39.95

Description

Herd 360 omni directional high gain cuddelink antenna. Our high gain booster antenna is specifically cut and tuned for the Cuddelink radio to radio trail camera system. Mounting this antenna up higher on a pole will improve the communication range and performance of the cuddelink system. Mounting one on the home camera will help with all the cuddelink remote cameras and you can also use our ditectional for remote cameras but often times just adding this antenna to the home and remote cameras is all that is needed.

Note, when using on the home unit that has two antennas. You want to install this antenn on the one on the right with the camera facing you. On the home units with three antennas, you want to install it on the link radio antenna which is the one that the round antenna would normally be on.

  • Herd 360 Omni-Directional 7DBi gain 24" Fiberglass Antenna with pole mounting hardware
  • 15' coax

Cuddelink High Gain Antenna

My farm in Southern IN is gently rolling but heavily wooded with a fair amount of undergrowth. As measured by Google Earth I was unable to get a usable link signal at 380 yards from my Home camera to remote #1. Also unable to establish a link between remotes #1 and #2 at 410 yards. Purchased 3 antennas from Mike for the 3 referenced cameras. All mounted on T post, 15' emt 1" conduit. Went from a weak signal in first scenario to a link level of 40+. Second scenario went from 0 signal to a link level in the 30's. Problem solved !! I have 3 more antennas awaiting installation as these worked so well. Hint, forget the zip ties. Oreilly auto sells stainless hose clamps for $2.29 each. Use then for mounting the pole to the T post, the camera holder (get the steel ones and ditch the plastic version that comes with the cameras), the antenna, everything. Just my proverbial 2 cents. Thanks Mike !

Real world feedback speaks for itself. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and thank you for using our antennas. Good luck this season.
